When you cut off a worms tail it grows another one. What would happen if you cut off its head? I did this once and the worm didn't die, but it didn't move, it just riggled, so why?

Kinetic (movement) energy is transformed into sound energy (and probably a little bit of heat energy), so yes, it does. You cannot simply get rid of energy, it must be transformed.

Ah, clever answer. What about:
When you freeze a different liquid such as fanta or coke, then you melt it afterwards, it melts into a watered down version of fanta or coke, instead of what you had before. Why?
