Yes, I'm bringing back this thread. Try to support you argument and try not to flame or disrespect other people's beliefs.
So does god exist?

I think He does. He's worked a lot of amazing wonders in my life and comforted me when I need Him most.

I was born and raised Jewish, although I don't really believe in that stuff, I suppose I don't believe in god. I kind of envy those that do in a way, at least they can believe in something. Anyways, the Big Bang and Evolution just seem to make more sense.

Maybe the point is that we don't know until we die.

To me the Big Bang and Evolution doesn't make sense at all. I mean, who created the soup? There had to be a creator at some point. Also, I watched this movie...I think was Expelled...anyways, most of the evolutionists didn't even answer the questions! They just kept going on and saying the same thing over and over again. It was irritating in a way.

If you're saying who created The Big Bang then who created god?

Do I need to voice my opinions on this again?
There is no God.

There will never be proof that god exists or what would the point of it be? If it was a certain fact, everyone would just be religious. All I can say is that I wouldn't judge it purely on how I was brought up. I also wouldn't want to remain ignorant... religeon is a pretty serious thing if you think about it, considering it could just be your entire eternal afterlife in the balance So I think the only thing that can be done is that everyone should try to learn as much as they can about every religion and then make a decision for themselves.

Religion isn't serious. It's a joke. As someone that has been dragged through many stages of the Roman Catholic Church for 15 years I can tell you that I've experienced it first hand and it just doesn't seem right. I find the whole idea of a supreme overlord ridiculus, and whilst I would love to be able to believe in one for reasons such as afterlife and whathaveyou, reason wins over.

If reason won over then no one would believe in god. We aren't all stupid blind followers, you know...
I question god's existence... Thing is, I haven't experienced enough of life for me to judge whether god exists or not. My understanding is limited and I can't just say "There's no proof god exists. Therefore he doesn't" when so many people have believed in him in the past... I mean, even Einstein. Granted human fallacy means I shouldn't take that to mean god exists, but until I find a reason to not believe in god, I should believe in him...
What do you mean, "it doesn't seem right"? I do find a lot of it strange and questionable, granted... but I don't understand what you're saying. Also, it seems unfair to say that just because you've been dragged to one church of just one religion too, that if it doesn't seem right, no religion can be right.
