I just got back from a school day trip to Belgium. We went a few days after Rememberance day and visited the trenches, a mueseum and Tyne Cotte Cemetary. This place really took my breath away. Walking inside a gate to be met with a field of white graves, at least half of whom are unknown. For a cemetary, it was strangely peaceful, not an ounce of eerieness, not an ounce of graffiti. This place has been really well looked after considering I didn't see one security guard.
The standard of behaviour is unbelievably different also. As we walked in, my normally roudy and loud class, suddenly went silent. The only sound on the way out were the tears of some of my friends. I was pleasently shocked by the impact the cemetary had on so many people. If you haven't already been, I highly advise you give it a visit.

You went on a day trip to BELGIUM. How did you get there, see everything and get back in 1 day?
