Has come to kill us all! Seriously all I hear on the news these days is this, it's a pandemic that's sweeping the world and such. Apparently now, it's reached many other countries besides Mexico and people need to go into quarantine. So, opinions?

Basically, it is dangerous yes, but nowhere near as dangerous as the media have made it out to be. Every story of this has been blown out of proportion so much it is unrecognisable.

I agree that's it's blown out of proportion. I mean, barely anyone's died and not that many are infected.

I'll start panicking when:
1. Someone dies in Britain that is my age.
2. The drugs that cure it turn people into zombies.
3. The papers stop caring.

The real problem is the lack of cure.

I agree with what was said above. ^ The Swine Flu isn't as dangerous as the real Flu. We just don't have a cure or vaccination yet. So, really, we're panicking over an everyday illness. So yes, it's blown WAY out of proportion. Learned that in my Science class the other day.

Someone in my year at school was on a cruise that 5 people were tested positive for Swine Flu on.

My school has two confirmed cases not to mention the unconfirmed. And on top of that, I'm sick.
