This game is probably a little more... demanding than most that are here and also there is no winner. Sorry guys. But I've played before and I really love it. So here's how it works. It starts with a song that the originator (in this case me) picks. I don't have to tell you the song, but I can. Then I post the first line (maybe two) of lyrics. I then write a chapter (the first) for a story that goes along with what's in those lyrics. When I'm done with the chapter, I post the next line of lyrics. Then, the next person who participates in the board carries on the story and writes the next chapter using the next line of lyrics to guide them.
Since I'm the originator, I will post the lyrics in between each chapter.
All chapters must be posted complete, but they don't have to be very long. It's such a fun game! here goes!!
Well it's that time, it's that time again.
David rolled down the windows to the black volvo, enjoying the scent of the sea. He was almost back to the beach, the place his family had spent every summer since he was 2. The golden sun beat down on the roof of the car, heating it up, but it felt good, to be back in the sun, after spending all year in Maine. He was so glad it was summer break. But this year was different. He was at the wheel, his 14 year old sister, Katie, asleep in the passenger seat. This year, the year his parents died, it would just be him and Katie. The ocean came into view, a blue mark on the horizon, and Davids pulse quickened. It was summer. It was the time when he was free.
((OK, so mine is REALLY short, but the originators job is really just to get things started.
Here are the next lines, please repost them if you reply. It's all coming back around, there she sees me, oh my God, this is who I've been))
