Bond is back! What did you think of it? I thought it was decent but not as good as Casino Royale, and it was too much like Bourne. Also, I really disliked the opening scene but the action and acting was very good, so how about you?

Because I'm lazy, I will copy & paste the review from my blog. Spoiler tags used because there is a bit of a plot synopsis that does spoiler a bit. Right, I went to town last weekend with a mate to see this, the most highly anticipated film of the year and the 22nd installment in the infinitely famous James Bond series. It was the first of the series to be a direct sequel to its predecessor and was Daniel Craig's second outing as the girl-grabbing secret agent.
The film is the story of Bond's emotionally charged search to avenge the death of his beloved Vesper Lynd. He tracks Mr White's shadowy organisation to a villain named Dominic Green. On the way, he meets the beautiful Camille Montes, who is one of the few Bond girls I can remember that never slept with Bond. As usual for Bond, much chaos and wit ensues before Bond inevitably prevails at the end.
Contrary to what many people who had seen it said, I was genuinely impressed by the film. I think Olga Kurylenko's Bond girl reflected the new kind of more self sufficient female that is present in the later movies. The action sequences are outstanding and Craig's awesome portrayal of Bond makes up for the lack of Q and his sophisticated gadgetry.
Certainly gets five stars.

It was very good, but not 5 stars good. 5 stars is I mean like The Usual Suspects and American Beauty. Quantum of Solace is a bit of fun like a Bond film is intended to be like. Yes there is no gadgets but it's still very much James Bond. 4 stars on my opinion.

I liked it with its non-stop action, but it suffered because there were no corny jokes! I give it 4 and a half stars.
P.S. I'm back!!!
