Well not everyone will want a roleplay on here so you'd need to take a vote to see on how many people would want a roleplay on here or someone to make a seperate site for it.

Um, I did, in this thread, say far 2 people have said no, 0 have said yes. No for location. If a flurry of people say yes the next stage is to ask where.

But it might be disastorous and cause people to leave? Plus I might be away when it happens.

I realize this is an old thread but is a rpg board out of the question. It is afterall writing. You could have settings for members to roleplay in or let members start their own.

I think having a roleplay area is a good idea if you're trying attract new members. I have two different roleplay areas on my forum, and also offer roleplay as a part of our bigger contests. What we have now is what's called ORP, or Open Roleplay. It's set in a fictional town called Fairfield, with boards to different areas in the town, which in turn contains threads to places there. The other roleplay board we offer is more structured. It's called Paperback. Members can choose a partner and roleplay in pairs, or they can roleplay in groups of 3 or more. The contests roleplay is geared toward the contest of course. For example, one of them is called Camp Scribblers. Members roleplay there as teens at a summer camp. And the other one his called Scribblers Abode High School, where members roleplay as students. This is a very, very short summary of all that these boards entail. If you're interested in more information, let me know. I can tell you though that the roleplay is VERY popular and has attracted alot of members to the forum. We just celebrated our 5000th member.
