I have a friend that says all that american term stuff like "mom" "color" "math", we have a bet going, see who slips up the most, so far she's said "maths" 3 times.

Even though I'm Irish, AND I live in sunny old England (LOL!), I actually say and spell it Mom. I don't know why, but it just comes naturally to me. However, my brother says mum.
Eh. Hell, I say mother too, just to wind her up xD

But the odd thing is, I say mum but spell mom.
